The Early Years

Ann Luke Bailey-Cutler, originally from Burley, Idaho, found her love for music early in life—singing publicly at age three and playing piano by five. She grew up performing in choirs and theatrical productions through high school and college, where she sang in the Ricks A Cappella Choir, the Mormon Youth Chorus, and later, Chamber Choir at the University of Washington. In her thirties, Ann discovered a passion for composing sacred music. Her song “The Day the Savior Came” earned an Award of Merit in the Church’s annual music competition, and she co-created the touring musical program “Womanhood—Enjoy to the End,” which she performed with two dear friends across the United States for nearly 25 years.

Family & Faith

While raising ten children with her first husband, Kirk Bailey, Ann earned a degree in Music Education and began teaching middle & high school choirs—sharing her love of singing daily with hundreds of students, writing and arranging music for young voices. Following Kirk’s passing in 2017, Ann found music to be a healing source of faith and unity for her family. In 2019, Ann married Brett Cutler. Together, they served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Idaho Boise Mission, ministering to East African refugees and sharing the message of Jesus Christ through word and song.
